David spent the first two decades of his working adult life in Safety and Risk Management in the Oil, Gas & Pipeline, Construction, Entertainment and Renewable Energy industries. He applied his degree in Behavioral Psychology to develop strategies to assist corporations in understanding why people do the things they do for reasons that made sense to them at the time. The purpose was to educate and modify behavior to the lowest acceptable risk with the highest possible gain.
Whether the setting was a local 501(c)(3) board meeting, on-set for NBC, or an Incident Management System (NIMS) conference, the conversation would often include talks on budget strategy, income solutions, and retirement income options. Through his own navigation of his household retirement plans, investment strategies, and insurance policies, a desire to learn and lead in the financial services industry was put heavy on his heart.
David began to find new opportunities to serve his community in financial and retirement education, literacy, and design.
David’s desire is to meet the pressing retirement needs of others so that their future may be fruitful.
David and his wife Jennifer live in Bakersfield, CA with their three amazing boys: Austin, Noah and Gavin.
